March 31 to April 2 — North America's largest machine vision trade show and conference will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center. The 2008 event attracted 112 exhibitors, the most in nearly a decade, and 2,500 attendees for a 5% increase.

MicroManufacturing and NanoManufacturing Conference and Exhibits 2009
April 1 and 2 — The MicroManufacturing conference will focus on precision micromachining technology and applications, micromolding technology and applications, micro fabrication and micro assembly, and MEMs. NanoManufacturing is for decision-makers looking for nano solutions to improve products, processes, and assembly techniques. The concurrent events will be held at the Sheraton Bloomington Hotel in Minneapolis.

New England Biomedevice
April 22 and 23 — The first Biomedevice MD&M exposition and executive forum is set for Massachusetts' converging medical device and biopharmaceutical-manufacturing industries. The event, to be held at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, will include 300 suppliers to the medical device industry and resources for biopharmaceutical manufacturing. The Biomedevice executive forum will focus on technologies, designs, manufacturing methods, testing protocols, FDA regulations and compliance procedures for new drug-device combinations, drug-delivery systems, molecular diagnostics, sophisticated imaging systems and other advances.

RAPID 2009 and 3D Imaging Conference
May 12 to 14 — RAPID is North America's largest annual rapid manufacturing conference and exposition. It attracts buyers, sellers, and end-users of design, prototyping, tooling, and direct manufacturing technologies. Attendees will have the opportunity to evaluate materials and machinery, compare processes, talk to industry experts, and make contacts. Also, the 3D Imaging Conference will be co-located with RAPID. Its focus will be noncontact imaging technology to capture and process high-resolution 3D spatial geometries. Both events will be at the Schaumburg Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center.
