Developed by leaders in the medical device industry, the Advanced Medical Technology Association’s (AdvaMed) Latin America Compliance Conference brings together professionals, policymakers, observers, and other stakeholders to discuss medical technology and compliance issues. As part of the commitment toward increased integrity in medical decision making and purchasing, the conference will focus on a variety of industry problems facing Latin America.

This year’s conference will take place in São Paulo, Brazil, from February 11-13, 2014. Key topics will include the implementation of Brazil’s Clean Companies anti-bribery law, increasing cross-border harmonization of industry codes of ethics, and the advancement of policies to ensure transparent regulatory environments, economic development, and growth. Other programs include managing risks, engaging employees, negotiating and monitoring third-party relationships, and compliance issues at the hospital and provider level.

In conjunction with AdvaMed, the conference is co-sponsored by Abimed, ABRAIDI, and CBDL. More information about the conference, including a detailed program, can be found here.
