Heat-shrinkable film can band several single products together as multi-packs, bogo-packs or on-packs. The clarity of shrink sleeves allows keeps the product visible. Sleeve printing can be used to print logos, barcodes, and text messages such as promotions.

Bands manufactured by Axon Corp., Raleigh, N.C., (axoncorp.com) are applied utilizing the company's EZ-200 or EZ-300 with an attached single or dual-head hot air, convective heat tunnel. The EZ-200 accommodates product widths from 111/416 to 4 71/48 in., while the EZ-300 accommodates product widths from 231/48 to 731/48 in. Both use the company's EZ-Seal film delivery system, which provides positive film opening with minimal moving parts.

Both systems are automatic, continuous-motion units that use minimal moving parts for high reliability and low maintenance. Multi-head applicators add redundant security over single head applicators. Their small footprint allows working both units into existing lines.
