Bag separator dispenses air pillows fast
The Airplus bag machine separates of air cushions into single air pillows which are easily distributed. The machine separates 8 3 4-in. or 8 3 8-in. bags at 40 bags/min. for straight feed, or 140 bags/min. when feeding a reservoir. Individual air pillows can be distributed to multiple packing stations for custom delivery systems. Initial installations report throughput increases of 18 to 30% with this automated, ergonomic alternative to manual bag separation.
Separated bags are easily dispensed from overhead hoppers. Spillage can be vacuumed back into the system and reused, eliminating waste and reducing cushioning costs. The machine's 26 × 26 × 41-in. size occupies minimal floor space and it runs on 110Vac.

Was this package dropped? Sensor tells
ShockTimer-Plus 3D monitors shock during transportation. The device can be attached to a shipment and will record the exact time a package was abused in transport. Once installed and activated the device detects and logs dates and times whenever a shock exceeds a pre-set threshold of either 2, 3 or 4g. It also indicates the shock axes. Shock date and time records can be extracted from the device using a wireless USB-IRDA dongle and analyzed using MS Excel. The log date and times tell where, when, and who damaged a shipment for reimbursement verification or for design improvements in a shipping containers.

Motor and servo control 30% smaller
IndraDrive Mi uses the motor casing as a heat sink for the servo/control system. Doing so adds only a small amount to the cross sectional profile and results in 30% less required area compared to other integrated systems where the electronics are fitted behind the motor. The design also uses more than 50% less total space compared to a traditional servo system with separate motor and drive packages. The unit reduces wiring costs in that one cable carries power and Sercos communications. Additional axes are daisy-chained to the preceding axis. All connections and the IndraDrive Mi are rated to protection class IP65.
