Controlling the humidity and temperature for labs and manufacturing

Critical lab process and sensitive small-batch manufacturing often require consistent conditions and close control of the environment. The Micro-Environment Control System from JS Humidifiers in the U.K.,(jshumidifiers.com) can provide from 110 to 200 l of air per second to create just such an environment. Relative humidity can range from 30 to 98% +/- 1%, and temperature can be anywhere from 15° to 45°C +/- 0.1%. Controlling these two parameters so closely can reduce waste and increase yields in some production processes. An onboard computer displays historic and real-time statistics on the system's output and lets users continually adjust temperature and humidity.

The self-contained unit is constructed of stainless steel and is on wheels, so it is easily moved. A built-in modem lets users monitor performance remotely and company technicians can troubleshoot it while avoiding downtime and expensive on-site visits.
