The CoroCut XS tool by Sandvik Coromant, Fair Lawn, N.J., precision turns components with diameters as small as 1 mm. XS Inserts are precision ground to contain extremely sharp edges, ensuring tight tolerances in external machining operations, such as grooving, threading, parting, and turning. The CoroCut XS has a grooving width of 0.5 mm and a parting width of 0.7 mm. CoroCut XS inserts are compatible with the same tool holder for all operations. The design also allows reaching the insert screw from either side of the tool holder.
