Phillips Plastics plans a $7-million addition to their medical device operations in Menomonie, Wisc. Phillips' medical molding (phillipsplastics.com) and assembly facility was recently approved for drug packaging, compliant to 21 CFR 210/211. Combining the new capability with its existing FDA registration will let the company grow its customer base in the medical-device market along with drug packaging and combination products.
