Phillips Plastics Corp., Prescott, Wis. (phillipsplastics.com) and Pro-Tek Medical Ltd., Sligo, Ireland (protek.ie) have launched the CerBo Limited joint venture, a design and manufacturing operation in Sligo, Ireland. This joint venture combines Phillips Plastics' design and distribution capabilities with Pro Tek Medicals' outsourcing solutions.

CerBo Ltd. will expand Phillips' global footprint, says Phillips Director of Business Development Kevin Hosmer. “CerBo Ltd. will offer customers increased global reach by providing design and manufacturing options for medical devices in the U.S. and Ireland.

Pro-Tek Medical specializes in precision injection molding, finished-devices assembly, and fine wire forming and welding. It provides outsourcing services to OEM medical device companies based in Europe and the U.S.

Phillips Plastics is a custom injection molder of plastic and metal. Its services include concept design, rapid prototyping, and tooling through production, assembly, packaging, and distribution.
