Laser-sintering system manufacturer EOS (eos.com), Krailling, Germany, and Advanced Laser Materials LLC (alm-llc.com), Temple, TX, a developer and manufacturer of materials for rapid manufacturing processes, have created a strategic partnership, in which EOS will act as a majority shareholder of ALM shares. The collaboration will advance the development of plastic materials for rapid manufacturing via laser-sintering, the key technology for e-manufacturing. The partnership will open the European market up to ALM, and strengthen EOS's US market share.
