RevZero launches contract manufacturing operation

With construction of a new 15,000 ft2 facility in Chanhassen, Minn. nearly complete, RevZero Inc. (revzeroinc.com) is open for business. The company says its operation is designed from the ground up to support rapid prototype machining and automated production for regulated industries such as aerospace and medical devices. The seven founding members have privately secured several million dollars in start up capital, and have focused investment in advanced CNC metalworking equipment and key personnel.

CEO Kirk O'Brien says the company's manufacturing model reserves capacity for rapid prototyping, concurrently develops automated production for established products, and aggressively recruits some of the best manufacturing talent in the Midwest. “Our managers have over 120 years of collective manufacturing experience, and they have invested their hard-earned cash to fund the first round of capital equipment purchases.”

“RevZero is launching with ten brand new machines including wire EDM, Swiss screw, vertical mill, and multi-axis lathe. They have also installed an ultrasonic citric passivation line, centrifugal disc finishing machines, SolidWorks design software, and automated video inspection equipment. Eight to twelve more will be installed in 2008,” says O'Brien.
