One component the company will produce is a guide wire for heart catheters. The high-precision concentric wires used in catheters are ground on three-axis systems that provide thru-feed and plunge centerless grinding for cylindrical parts from 0.005 to 5-in. diameter with concentricity tolerances of 50 millionths.
