Vesta boosts capacity for silicone parts

A manufacturer of silicone components for medical devices says it has increased its extrusion capacity and capabilities. The new extrusion machine at Vesta Inc., Franklin, Wisc., (vesta.com) brings the company's total to nine. “This gives us more flexibility in scheduling short-run engineering making it faster and easier to prototype designs,” says Vesta CEO Phil Estes. “Likewise, our ability to extrude small but frequent orders along with long continuous-shift runs means we can meet tight deadlines.”
