Cord Set And Wire Maker Mark 20 Years Of Teamwork

Wire manufacturer Northwire Inc., Osceola, Wisc., (northwire.com) says it's ready to assist equipment designers that need made-to-order cord sets and power cords in low volumes, one to 1,000 pieces, or more. The company says its relationships with over 250 assemblers around the world gives it advantages. In fact, Northwire this year marks 20 years of working with one such assembler, Interpower Corp., Oskaloosa, Iowa, (interpower.com). The company uses Northwire products.

“Many technical-cable suppliers do not fill custom orders for volumes less than 10,000 feet, but Northwire has a 35-year history of working with assemblers without minimum-length requirements,” says Northwire's director of sales Ted Beach.

“When an opportunity arises we can't pursue with existing products, we call Northwire to help develop a configuration,” says Interpower's president Bob Wersen.
