Dc/dc converters rated to 300 W

A line of compact, isolated dc/dc converters is suitable for equipment with 24 to 160 Vdc inputs that need 12 or 24 Vdc outputs. The Sevcon dc/dc converters, from Sevcon Inc., Southborough, Mass. (sevcon.com) deliver a stable, isolated high power (300 W), low voltage dc supply to ensure accessories and devices operate properly, regardless of load current or state of battery charge according to the company. The converters eliminate inefficient battery taps and expensive high-voltage accessories, and are intended for installation on-board electric vehicles. The encapsulated and IP67 rated devices are connected permanently to the battery.
