The MW159 series of 100-watt, external, switch-mode power supplies for medical applications is certified to IPX1 standards. Marketed under the Ault brand name, the MW159 is a single output family available in four voltages with power from 80 to 100W. The power supplies are well-suited to medical-device designs that demand power beyond 75W. For a medical product, IPX1 provides a higher than ordinary level of protection from vertically dripping water, leaks, and spills. The MW159 series is IPX1 drip-proof which makes it safe for use in harsher medical environments where spills may occur.
