More electrical-power products RoHS compliant

Pulizzi Engineering (pulizzi.com ) complies to the RoHS Directive for restricting hazardous substances in electronic equipment. Companies shipping banned substances in their products after July 1, 2006 can face fines or prosecution by the EU. Since the Santa Ana, Calif.-based company's first RoHS product was released to production in February 2006, 25 more have been labeled RoHS compliant. The conversion effort has been over a two-year process and included use of new lead-free solder. Converted items include all catalog products intended for use in the EU, which are identified by the IEC type C13 “computer style“ connectors.
