Foot switches

Line of foot switches includes the Linear Slim-Line, the Low-Profile, and the USB (Universal Serial Bus) foot switch.

The Linear Slim-Line is a low-profile, lightweight foot control designed for analog and digital applications. It’s available in multi-pedal models and various colors to satisfy numerous medical and light-duty applications and it’s watertight up to an IP68 degree of protection for quick and easy cleanup. Applications include dental scalers, bone shavers, and electronic speed controls. Hall Effect sensors ensure reliability, limited mechanical wear, and smooth linearity without any “dead spots. Custom variations are available.

The Low Profile foot control allows the operator to position it in places that most foot pedals are too tall to fit. The switches are operated by applying pressure to the top pad, which covers an underlying membrane. With no foot pedal travel, foot or leg fatigue is limited. A durable aluminum base provides the foot control with ample weight to prevent unwanted movement during use.

The USB (Universal Serial Bus) foot switch is in wired and wireless configurations for most applications. It helps perform multiple functions such as emulating a mouse or keyboard keystroke with feet while freeing hands to perform additional operations. Some models are field programmable and supplied with software that allows the user to program the foot switch quickly and easily, for “plug and play” simplicity. Custom pre-programmed switches or other interfaces such as CAN, SPI, I2C, RS232/485/422, TTL/CMOS, 1-Wire, or application-specific protocol is also available.
