Medical processing area

As part of a recent expansion that added 20,000 sq ft of manufacturing space to its headquarters location, a maker of custom sensors, controls, solenoid valves, and subassemblies has opened a 4,000-sq-ft medical processing area. The new medical processing area will enable Gems Sensors & Controls, Plainville, CT, to improve its medical product manufacturing layouts so it can provide better material and product workflow in order to address the specific needs of the medical industry and general worker safety, as well as to expand the company’s workforce and capabilities.

Medical-related products that are offered from the company’s plant include liquid-level, flow, and pressure sensors; solid-state relays and barriers; liquid and pneumatic miniature solenoid valves; and fluid-handling assemblies.
