The Full Service Foundry of austriamicrosystems San Jose, Calif., (austriamicrosystems.com) now provides its CMOS 50V high voltage process for 0.35µm technology. The H35 high voltage process offers 20V and 50V HV MOS devices with low on-resistances down to 0.04 ohms/mm2. These values are half of other competitive processes for a purely CMOS-based HV, and they match the performance of more expensive Bipolar CMOS DMOS.

The 0.35µm CMOS-HV process is its fifth generation and is produced in the company's eight-in. wafer fab. It requires only two-mask level adders on top of CMOS for low complexity. The company also provides design support including digital, analog, and high-voltage libraries.
