PM42 series of AC/DC power supplies by Protek Power North America, Hudson, MA, provides 30W to 48W of performance and compliance to EN60101-1 medical safety standards and EN60950-1 ITE safety standards. Applications include patient vicinity medical devices, dental electronics, and laboratory equipment, as well as commercial process control, communications, and instrumentation applications. The PM42 Series accepts a 90-264VAC universal input.  Single, dual, and triple output models have voltages ranging from 5VDC to 48VDC. The compact footprint is 2 x 4 x 1.18 inches. The Series has efficiencies to 88%, leakage current of 150uA maximum at 264VAC, and 4000VDC input-ground withstand voltage. Comprehensive protection circuitry, including overvoltage and short
circuit protection, is part of the design.
