When it comes to foot controls for medical devices and equipment applications, there are many factors to address. Among them: weight, cleanability, storage and mobility, ingress protection, compliance with standards, optimal actuator operating forces, optimal actuator style and location, optimal stability, electrical and electronic functionality, patient safety and compliance, and aesthetic compatibility.
