The SQ capacitor series is a line of porcelain and ceramic dielectric multilayer capacitors (MLC) with nonmagnetic terminations for MRI applications. The series is rated at 50VDC to 500VDC with capacitance values ranging from 0.1pF to 1000pF. The RF capacitors are constructed using a fine-grained porcelain dielectric with palladium internal electrodes. The high-density and high-purity dielectric materials enable the SQ Series to keep moisture out. The design is said to also allow for as much as 40% lower equivalent series resistance than other MLC versions. The capacitors are rated for operation between -55ºC to 125ºC.
