Endevco Corp., San Juan Capistrano, Calif,. a Meggitt group company, (endevco.com), will expand and upgrade its micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) production facility in Sunnyvale, Calif. The maker of vibration, shock, and pressure measurement instruments said the one year, $5 million expansion is in response to the growth of MEMS technology.

The expansion will also make room for further growth and new equipment, which will add process capability. The company has also recruited and trained several process engineers, including a silicon carbide etch engineer.
