The 712 series of subminiature circular connectors are suitable for medical and industrial applications that require a high level of EMI protection and IP67 sealing capabilities. The small connectors from Binder-USA Camarillo, Calif., (www.binder-usa.com) are available with straight and right-angle cable exits supporting up to 5-mm diameter shielded or unshielded cables. Panel-mount connectors are available in front and rear-mount versions with solder-cup contacts. DIP solder options are available in straight and right angle versions with or without shielding ground tabs. Straight plugs feature an outer diameter of only 11.5 mm. All 712 series connectors are rated to IP67 and are RoHS compliant.
