BioWest 2006 closes with record attendance

The trade show and conference sponsored by Colorado BioScience, BioWest 2006, (biowestconference.com) saw about 840 visitors through its doors to see presentations and booths from 200 companies. The show is intended to let executives get the scoop on Colorado's growing bioscience companies by presenting their clinical trials, findings, and partners. The show also previewed a select group of the Rocky Mountain area's newest bioscience companies and their technologies. (Seven early-stage companies presented their R&D plans for new products.) Attendees heard what federal agencies are planning and implementing and how to overcome regulatory hurdles.
