Seal manufacturer Busak+Shamban has changed its name to Trelleborg Sealing Solutions. Busak+Shamban, acquired by Trelleborg in October 2003, shares expertise in polymer science with the Sweden-based parent. The marketing arm continues to operate under the Busak+Shamban brand, while the manufacturing facilities will use the Trelleborg name. “Our support and service is only enhanced by our future plans,” says President of Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Claus Barsoe. Trelleborg is a global industrial group with expertise in advanced polymer technology and application know-how. The Trelleborg Group has annual sales of about $400 million with about 23,000 employees in 40 countries.
