Patent landscape platform

Patent Dashboard is a proprietary Web 2.0-based collaborative tool by Dolcera Corp, San Diego.  The flagship software as a service (SaaS) offering enables companies to visualize, search, and map the relevant competitive patent landscape, determine patent value and ultimately accelerate the time to commercialize their patents. The Patent Dashboard v1.1 lets users create custom taxonomies and edit patent categories.

While legal and legal IP departments are among the primary users of the Dolcera Patent Dashboard, the Tool’s ease of use and flexibility, along with its collaboration capabilities, make it practical for non-patent-experts in R&D and competitive intelligence departments.

Features of the Dolcera Patent Dashboard Tool v1.1:
• Custom taxonomies and patent additions.  Users are able to create their own Dashboard based on topics of interest. They may classify and organize information according to natural relationships and can create their own taxonomies, rather than having them auto-generated.
Editable patent categories. Users may copy/move patents from node to node within the Dashboard using the drag and drop functionality.
•Enhanced researching and reporting. Users may search patents by title, abstract, claim, and full text. Even complex searches using simple Boolean operators are possible within the Dashboard. Information filters are used to select and view desired data related to patents, products, articles and trials.
• Enhanced collaboration. Users may rate documents on relevance, tag documents for colleague referral and view a history of track changes made with respect to a patent. Enhanced data security allows selective access for specific individuals on the team.

The Patent Dashboard may be used as a standalone tool or in conjunction with other patent tools such as search, intellectual asset management, or research tools.
