ATEK Medical Mfg., says it has added its ninth class-10,000 clean-room to its facility in Grand Rapids, Mich. “The new room has a complete linear work flow to support our lean-manufacturing initiatives,“ says vice president Dave Mabie. The company, ISO 13485:2003 certified and FDA registered, assists in the design, production, and launch of Class I, II and III medical devices. It says it has developed and launched more than 350 unique products and specializes in product management and full-service manufacturing, including microbiology capabilities.
