Slew-ring Bearing Fit for Clean Rooms

A slew-ring bearing uses a sliding element made from iglide J plastic, an aluminum housing, and stainless steel screws. The iglide J material, from Igus Inc., East Providence, R.I., (igus.com) is said to eliminate maintenance and lubrication. The PRT bearing works well in semiconductor manufacturing, cleanrooms, and on assembly lines.
