The Protomold Co. of Maple Plain, Minn. has opened a facility in Telford, England. The company (protomold.com) delivers up to 25 prototype parts in production material in five business days after receipt of a CAD model. Although firms in the E.U. have been using Protomold, their turnaround took longer. The five-day turnaround will now be available to them.

Additional recent developments allow building molds that have up to four side-pulls and part delivery in five days. The company has also added 15,000-ft² to its Minnesota facility.
