Sterilizable closures
Sterilizable plastic protective closures by Caplugs, Buffalo, NY, are designed to protect medical instruments and devices before, during, and after the sterilization process.
A range of medical-grade and FDA-grade sterilizable materials, developed to withstand the high heat and harsh environments produced during sterilization processes, are used. The materials retain all properties throughout and following the sterilization process, enabling them to stay on the product and serve as shipping or storage protection.
The closures are designed to cradle applications and have integrated vents to ensure that parts stay on under pressure. Standard and custom-designed parts are available.
