UV centrifuge cell windows from Meller Optics, Providence, RI, have a wedged, planoconvex design that lets users view cell contents in a centrifuge. The windows are scribed on their edges with the projection of the optic axis to assist with proper alignment. Sapphire windows resist chemicals and scratching while single crystal quartz windows are available for less demanding requirements. The windows are for OEM and replacement applications.
