Zero insertion force connector for portable medical equipment

QLC miniature zero insertion force high reliability connector by ITT Interconnect Solutions, Santa Ana, CA, is engineered for portable medical equipment. The connector features a 260-position pin count, quick-disconnect latch for easy mating and unmating, EMI and RFI shielding, and a lightweight aluminum shell. Its high pin count, size, and reliability make it well suited portable ultrasound machines and other portable imaging equipment. It is capable of withstanding up to 20,000 mating cycles. In addition to portable medical equipment, the QLC connector is specified for use in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, test instruments, and industrial control box connections.
