Nearly showtime for first-ever MPC
In just a few short weeks, Sept 7 and 8, Medical Design's first-ever Medical Prototyping Conference (MPC) will be held in Minneapolis, home to a slew of medtech companies. Modeled after Medical Design’s successful two-day Medical Silicone Conference events, MPC will feature presentations by leading industry experts on all areas of prototyping, including stereolithography, selective laser sintering, 3D printing, rapid injection molding, and other topics specific to medical device OEMs. Next month’s keynote by University of Minnesota Professor and Director of Design Education William Durfee will dig deep “Quick and Dirty Prototyping.” That is, quick and cost-effective prototyping efforts that occur early in the design process.
With so many available prototyping and additive manufacturing technologies and techniques available, it is essential for device makers to sort it all out and find the right technique for the application. MPC will allow you to do just that.
A special MPC Preview can be found in the July/August issue of Medical Design. Check it out and then register.
See you in Minneapolis!
