Electronic cams and profiles can be generated using the Cam/Profile Designer tool. The feature is part of Ormec's ServoWire Motion & Logic Controller. Cam motions are based on a data table that describes the motion of a slave axis relative to the motion of a master axis. Cams can be up to 1,024 points long with linear, quadratic, or cubic interpolation between each point. Multiple cams can be queued and repeated, as well as synchronized to high-speed drive inputs.
