Luer and medical electrode testing
DDL, which tests medical-device packages, products, and materials, announces an agreement with Pennsylvania-based Citech that lets DDL add new industry-accepted FDA-recognized tests. As a result of the agreement, DDL will test electrodes, TENS devices, ECG cables, ECG electrodes, defibrillation electrodes, and electrosurgical accessories. DDL and Citech have tested luer fittings, needles, and syringes, however, with Citech’s business closing, all such testing will be done at DDL.
