Adhesives
Adhesives survive harsh conditions
Polymer system AC85 is a highly conductive silver-filled adhesive and sealant. Its non-oxidizing, silver particles give it good conductivity. It also features long term durability even when exposed to adverse environmental conditions due to its oxidation and chemically resistant properties. AC85 has a service temperature range of -62 to 150°C (-80 to 300°F), a surface resistance of 0.03 ohms/square, excellent ESD performance, and an EMI performance of 60 to70 dB.

An alternative to rubber adhesives
MACdots, pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) tapes, are available in acrylic or rubber-based adhesive systems. The acrylic adhesive (TM2044) is for medical applications where rubber adhesives cannot be tolerated, such as diagnostic testing or advanced wound care. The rubber adhesive (TM1060) features great long-term adhesion. MACdots free film tapes feature an adhesive coating that creates precise adhesive placement patterns for medical-device construction or wound-care applications. TM2044 and TM1060 are for applications that require adhesion to the skin for extended periods of time. A customizable micro-screen adhesive pattern lets air, gas, and liquid permeate out of the wound.

Silicone adhesives cure at room temp
SnapSil RTV230A/B adhesive is a two-component, room-temperature cure silicone adhesive that features a fast tack free time, primerless adhesion to many substrates, and greater flexibility in usage and storage. The condensation-cure silicone adhesive is an excellent candidate for industrial assembly applications where a faster cure speed is desired, where heat to cure an adhesive can damage components, or where greater productivity is needed.
