Adhesives

UV-cured adhesives bond fast

UV-curable adhesives adhere to a variety of substrates for fast, simple, and cost-effective bonding. The single-part adhesives cure within seconds of exposure to ultra-violet light, ensuring accurate alignment of components for bonding glass furniture, cabinets, and tiny electrical parts on high-speed production lines. They provide maximum optical clarity and do not yellow. The adhesives come in a wide range of viscosities to suit the gap fill requirements of the joint, and are high-strength and durable. Options include flexible, shock, and impact-resistant grades.

Adhesive system for in-vitro diagnostic products

The ARcare 90106 system is used in in-vitro diagnostic products. The clear, double-faced film is coated on both sides with a high coatweight, hybrid pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is available in roll stock form and is used for bonding in microfluidic devices or other disposable test formats. Featuring high tack and peel properties, it adheres to a variety of substrates, including polycarbonate, ABS plastics, and low energy surfaces like cyclic olefins, polyethylene, and polypropylene. The environmentally stable adhesive offers temperature resistance from -10° to 120° C.

Pressure-sensitive adhesives

Coated pressure-sensitive adhesive laminates such as foams, polyesters, polyurethanes, non-wovens, and other stocks are tailored to manufacturers' needs. Specialty laminates are toll or contract manufactured under pharmaceutical GMP conditions and used in transdermal systems, wound-care dressings, medical devices, and electronic products.
