Dispensing cartridge mixes adhesives and other compounds
Dentists must sometimes mix two-part adhesives in precise ratios well before it's necessary to place the material. A new dispenser from TAH Indutries, Robbinsville, N.J., (tah.com) the U-tah Nano, is a double-barrel cartridge that fits in industry-standard Centrix dipensers. It can also be used in syringe and gun-type dispensers. Versions of the cartridge are available for packaging and mixing two-part adhesives and other compounds such as impression-taking putty in 1:1 or 10:1 ratios. The single-use cartridge minimizes the risks of cross contamination. It also makes mixing less messy and more precise.
