Fastening guide profiles hardware and installation

The 12-page Product Guide and Index to Bulletins is a quick and easy reference for fastener products and installation equipment. The guide describes the complete product line and includes descriptions and photos of more than 75 fastener types. The literature's Quick Product Locator identifies each fastener and a bulletin with more detailed product information. The index is color-coded to match the catalog tabs.

The company manufactures PEM self-clinching, broaching, weld, and surface mount fasteners, SI inserts for plastics, and Atlas SpinTite, MaxTite, and Plus+Tite blind threaded inserts. Fastener-installation equipment includes Pemserter automatic and manual precision presses, In-Die and robotics capabilities, the StickScrew System for small-screw insertion, and Atlas tools.

Big buttons make for fewer mistakes

Large-headed pushbuttons are available in various sizes from a 22.5 mm mounted switch with a 32-mm diameter actuator up to a 30.5 mm mounted switch with a large 40-mm actuator. A special large actuator with LED illumination, popular for door-opening applications, is available in the Series 56 range.

Large-headed pushbuttons address hazards associated with industrial tasks, letting operators work in easier and safer conditions. A large surface area can be activated either by palm or fist and produces excellent tactile feedback even when activated at the edge. Protection is available up to IP67 against dirt and moisture ingress.

Epoxy preforms for high-volume sealing

Uni-form epoxy preforms are an alternative to liquid epoxy for high-volume, high-quality sealing tasks. The one-part epoxy resins are solid at room temperature, but melt and cure when heated, forming a consistent seal that protects components from dust, moisture, oil, flux, solvents, conformal coatings, and other contaminants. High quality results come from close tolerances on preform configurations, consistent pre-mixed ratios of resin to catalyst, and consistent viscosity from beginning to end of batch. Preforms can be dispensed as rapidly as 200 to 600 parts per minute with little or no operator training, and extensive operator experience is not required to produce uniform results. Preforms also eliminate pot-life concerns and costly cleanup procedures. Uni-forms are available in a wide range of shapes, sizes, and materials to accommodate diverse applications.

Delivery cart for narrow aisles

A small-parts delivery cart comes with two adjustable 34 × 54-in. shelf rails with removable deck halves and 2,000 lb. rated load capacity for varying package heights and weights. A MPP (modified pivot point) 6-wheel system (4-wheels down, 2-wheels up) delivers low manual push/pull forces at full load, with an ability to track/turn long trains of carts in narrow aisles. Additional features include a self-stowing, spring-loaded towbar, auto-release HD floor lock, removable handle, and compact auto-hitch.

Snap-in cordgrips relieve cord and cable strain

Snap-In Cordgrips are suited for applications that use a flexible power cord in a non-liquid tight environment or where short assembly time is important. The cordgrips are easy to install: fingers on the end of the cordgrip securely lock into the cabinet or product housing without tools. The cordgrips are available in a variety of cable and mounting hole sizes from 0.079 to more than one-inch diameter, and are constructed from durable polyamide 6/6 nylon for added strength and chemical resistance. They also meet UL 94V-2 flammability requirements and can be specified in black, white, or matched to color chips.

A few applications include industrial power supplies, packaging equipment, control panels, security cameras, conveyor assemblies, automation equipment, power distribution equipment, power surge protection cabinets, and medical imaging equipment.
