Tubing sets speed assembly

Pre-assembled tubing sets let manufacturers simplify product assemblies, eliminate assembly errors, ensure leak-free connections, reduce assembly time, and shorten inventory management tasks. Tubing sets made with PTFE tubing in 1/16-in. and 1/8-in. O.D. sizes are cut to length and assembled with the new distinctive, permanently attached, color-coded Omni-Lok fitting system on one or both ends. Combinations of multiple and single tubing sets can be prepared to plumb complete instruments.

Tiny tube for tiny spaces

TU/M miniature polyurethane tubing comes in 2-mm OD (1.2-mm ID) size. Seven standard colors are available in 20-meter rolls. A minimum bending radius of only 4mm lets the tubing fit into tight spaces. Maximum operating pressure is 116 psi and the tubing works with both air and water.

Straight and elbow style barbed fittings are available with M5 threads and a collar helps hold the tubing on the barb. Barb to one-touch unions step down to smaller tubing size where needed, and plug-in reducers directly connect the 2-mm tube to valve manifolds with built in one-touch fittings.

Tubing parts eliminate leaks, improve flow

Custom molding tubing parts are manufactured from PVC-based plastisol. The dip-molded parts eliminate potential leaks, and reduce labor costs. The design means users purchase and stock only one finished product instead of separate tubing, fittings, and clamps. Without connections obstructing flow fluid and air flow unimpeded. In addition, aesthetics are improved, smaller sizes save space and the parts weigh less than previous models. Tubing material is available in FDA, 3A, and UL flame-retardant grades.

Silicone tubing holds up to high pressure

HelixMark reinforced tubing is intended for increased-pressure and high-temperature applications. The tubing has strong polyester braiding between extrusions of platinum-cured silicone (65 Shore A), and is marked with an easily identifiable blue spiral. HelixMark meets USP Class Vl and European Pharmacopoeia 3.1.9 biocompatibility requirements and is manufactured following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in accordance with the Quality Systems Regulation. The tubing can be sterilized by autoclave, ethylene oxide, or gamma radiation within the user's validated cycles and exposure levels.
