A bagger for short-runs and frequent changes
The Autobag AB 180 OneStep runs at speeds to 30 bags/min, printing high-resolution text, graphics, and bar codes up to 12 ips. The system is ideal for packaging small to medium products in bags up to 11-in. wide and 25-in. long. It is suited to short production runs and build-on-demand operations.
Positioning a printer directly over the next bag to be loaded lets the AB 180 OneStep print and index in a single-step, eliminating bag waste and product queuing. The system brings accuracy and efficiency to packaging lines that require frequent product and label changes. The OneStep can be used in standard print-n-pack configuration, or fitted with a variety of options, including laptop computers, bar-code scanners, and stand-alone keyboards. On-board diagnostics and modular Replace-n-Repair components ensure maximum uptime.

Vacuum chambers with solid-seal bars
The C400 TC (temperature control) and C500 TC vacuum chambers are medical grade for packaging machines with solid-seal bars. They generate a constant and verifiable temperature over the entire sealing surface and throughout the full sealing cycle. Solid-seal bars have been used in rollstock machines for years but are new to vacuum-chamber machines and provide an alternative to pulse sealing.

Automatic filler reduces operator strain
Flexicon model FF30 tabletop filling and capping machine automates filling for batch sizes of 100 to 2,000 units or more per day. The process eliminates fill inaccuracies and operator strain injuries from repetitive torquing.
The easy-to-clean peristaltic filler features precision accuracy, consistent torque, fast format changeover, and quick and efficient certification since products come in direct contact only with disposable sterile tubing and the filling needle. Variations in product viscosity are accommodated by changing tubing dimension. All changeable parts are mounted by easy-access finger screws.
Vials and bottles between 12 and 50 mm are filled, fitted with a closure, and torqued to a preset setting in a controlled progression. Fill volumes from between 0.1 ml to 100 ml are filled with an accuracy of ±0.5%.
