Dymax-Blue to Clear

Adhesives formulated with See-Cure technology are bright blue when uncured. This makes them easy to see on the surface of substrates, in deep wells, or when sandwiched between two layers of materials. The blue-colored adhesives will not permanently stain component surfaces they contact. Because the color is visible, simple vision systems can be placed in assembly lines prior to curing to easily identify adhesive coverage and profile. As the adhesive cures, the blue color within the adhesive fades and ultimately turns clear upon full cure.
Adhesives formulated with See-Cure for use in medical-device assembly were subjected to biocompatibility testing. These verified that the addition of Dymax See-Cure technology has no affect on the biocompatibility rating of the original adhesive product or on the biocompatibility of the component surfaces.
