Bonded rubber-to-metal components for diagnostic equipment

Rollers, seals, gaskets, handles and buttons by Rubber Industries for medical diagnostic equipment such as CT scanning systems and blood analyzers, are chemically bonded during vulcanization and curing for permanent sealing of the bonded components. Elastomers can be bonded to stainless steel, medical grades of aluminum, and plastic. Custom formulations meet specific performance requirements such as hardness, fluid resistance, abrasion resistance, shrinkage, elongation, modulus and cost. Turnkey rubber-to-metal bonding include design assistance, tool design and building, prototype molding, production molding, deflashing, and packaging.
