The first-ever MSC Anaheim took place Nov 3 and 4 at the Sheraton Anaheim and attracted more than 160 industry leaders representing OEMs, contract manufacturers, suppliers, and trade organizations. The event followed the successful debut of the Medical Silicone Conference (MSC) in Minneapolis last March. Both events are sponsored by Medical Design. 

General session topics on healthcare reform, intellectual property, and non-disclosure agreements, coupled with sessions on materials and processing topics, 20-plus exhibits by key material and processing suppliers, and a networking lunch and reception proved to be a winning combination. 

Presentations by engineering and marketing executives from Shin-Etsu, Phillips Plastics, Kruse Analysis, Milliken & Co, Kipe Molds, and NuSil Technology provided attendees with key information on material advancements, processing technologies, and case study applications.
