Plans under way for next MSC
The medical device industry’s first-ever Medical Silicone Conference, presented by Medical Design in Minneapolis last month, attracted nearly 150 attendees and 20 exhibitors. Medical-device OEMs, contract manufacturers, and suppliers were well represented.
The conference program included seven presentations on advancements in molding, fabricating, tooling and materials. Keynoter Nancy Singer delivered an insightful session on “Dangerous Documents: Avoiding Land Mines in Your FDA Records and EMails”. (For more see Editorial.)
Looking ahead, Medical Design Publisher Bill Rodman says the event will definitely be repeated again next year in Minneapolis and that a second location may be added as well.
A Call for Presentations for the next MSC will be published in Medical Design, Medical Edge e-News and at www.medicaldesign.com.
