Wire resists corrosion in harsh environments

Metallurgically bonded platinum or nickel-clad molybdenum wire are for use in devices subjected to high temperatures, high vacuum, and oxidation. The clad molybdenum wire is a metallurgically bonded alternative to solid wire and capable of withstanding temperatures to 1,200C, depending on the material and application.
