Keynote sessions on post-recession strategies and the evolving legislative and regulatory environment, coupled with sessions on materials and processing topics, exhibits by key silicone material and processing suppliers, and a networking lunch and reception helped make the second MSC Minneapolis a resounding success. The event was held March 21-22 at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, where more than 140 industry leaders representing OEMs, contract manufacturers, suppliers, and trade organizations gathered to learn and network. Presentations by engineering and marketing executives from SMC Ltd, Phillips Plastics, M.R. Mold, Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics, Elmet Elastomere Produktions, and NuSil Technology provided attendees with key information on material advances, processing technologies, and integration and customization of silicone.
