A multi-pole conveyor stop gate for Rexroth's TS conveyors makes it easier to set up power and signal lines. The VE2/MP stop gate from Bosch Rexroth Corp, Charlotte, NC (boschrexroth-us.com) combines all the functions of the previous design with a pneumatic solenoid valve, an embedded microprocessor, three proximity sensors, and an array of LED indicators in a self-contained package. A previous control and feedback setup for similar functions took at least 10 separate components from different suppliers.
