The size 40 PSK Precision Module ball screw is the smallest in its product line and aimed at applications that need high stiffness and rapid cycle times. The PSK 40 module from Bosch Rexroth Corp., Charlotte, N.C. (boschrexroth-us.com) provides industry-leading speed (max is 375 mm/sec) and lengths (40 to 90 mm standard) up to 350 mm long. The module is 40-mm wide, 20-mm high, it incorporates a 6-mm diameter ball screw with the option for 1 or 2-mm lead. The ball screw is manufactured to tolerance class 7 with a preloaded ball nut for high positioning accuracy and stiffness.
